MIL_STD

MIL-STDs define standardized technical requirements for military-specific processes, as well as substantially modified commercial procedures, practices, and methods, ensuring consistency and reliability across military operations.

For example, The US Department of Defense Standard MIL-STD 1275 is an immunity standard specifying test conditions for the input of a 28V electrical power system in military vehicles.
